About the Carlingford Comets

The Carlingford Comets Netball Club was started in 2009 with 3 teams. This year, 2010, we have 6 teams aged from 8 to 14.

All teams practice on Tuesday afternoons at Durnossil Avenue, Carlingford. Players under 10 play at Brush Farm and players over 11 at Meadowbank Park on Saturday mornings during winter season.

Our communication network is structured so that all members are kept up to date via our website and email. Weekly team reports are posted on our website and important messages are emailed directly to each member.

We are a friendly and caring group of people who work together creating a positive environment to encourage, support and teach our members to strive toward their maximum potential in all aspects of their lives. Netball is a great way to learn important life skills like communcation, problem solving, focus, working within a team and leadership, to name a few.

The Carlingford Comets Netball Club is a member of the of Eastwood Ryde Netball Association (ERNA) and our President, Debbie Frankenberg is ERNA's Media Convenor and Coach of 13 Development Team for 2010.

One of the events that ERNA holds every year is the Cure our Kids Carnival. Our girls LOVE that day and it's a fun day for everyone.
