Message for 13/3's and 14/4's

Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic season. Well done Simon and Michael on getting the girls to finals.
Our hopes to have some of our younger players cheer you on have been dashed now that they are expected to play extra games. Nevertheless, our thoughts will be with you and hopefully, you will make Grand Finals and we will get to see you play then.
Some Finals housekeeping.
Please make sure that you wear the CORRECT uniform. You will only be allowed to take the court if you are in the team uniform. Our uniform comprises:
- Your club dress
- Black scungees or boy leg shorts (if you are wearing shorts with a longer leg, buy new ones or sit on the sideline. Sorry to be blunt, but I've seen it happen before. The umpire can make you miss your game if you are not in correct uniform).
- White short socks. Another MUST!
- SOFT headbands in purple only. Don't wear a hard headband because any umpire worth her salt will tell you to take it off.
Sorry to sound bossy, but I want you all to play ... and I'd certainly love you to WIN! It's much harder to do that if one or more of you is sitting on the sideline.
Managers
Please read pages 49 and 52 of the Fixture Book. I've been told that there is some important information pertaining to finals procedures that must be adhered to.
I'm really sorry about being so abrupt and rude, but there really isn't any way to dress up this message. This message by the way, comes directly from the Association.
Good luck girls. Hopefully our 11's will make up for the lack of 8 and 10 year old supporters. 11's ... if you can get there in your uniforms and supporter our bigger girls, that would be really wonderful. Mums and Dads of our 11's ... I know it's a big ask, but our big girls deserve our support.
