Week 16 - 10/4s

Today the Comets played their final game for the season against Dundas Central - who were leaders in the competition. The final score was 19-1. It was a really hard game for the girls and very fast paced.

It was very windy on the court and the ball was going all over the place. I think the girls played a great game. Emma was our only point scorer today. CONGRATULATIONS!!

Today Jessica played her last game with us - and what a great game she played. Thank you for being a wonderful team player and also thank you for the yummy lolly bags. We will all miss you.

Alana, Emma & Melissa were on fire again today, they are our great defenders. Hansali, Varsha & Christina are our super girls who seem to be everywhere at once. Also great playing from Alina and also Phoebe who was injured but managed to keep playing once we lost Jessica.

I think the 10/4's have made great progress this season. Debbie & I are so proud of you all and I look forward to seeing you all back next year.

Thank you to all 10/4's for making this such a great season and also a big thank you to all the parents.

Finally a HUGE thank you to our great coach Debbie who started with a team of mainly new players with no netball experience and turned the girls into a great team. All I can say is that the other teams better watch out next year!!!
