Grand Finals - 10am Meadowbank Park

10am THIS SATURDAY!!!

 

Wouldn't you know it ... both our 13's and 14's will be playing at the same time.  That's just more reason for us to get there and cheer them on so that both teams have LOTS of supporters!

Don your purple and pink gear, get those purple and pink streamer things (I can't remember what you call them!) and get yourself down early to get a spot! 

Not to add pressure to our Grand Finalists, but the Committee will be there to lend support and that means some of our younger girls will be there too to see the big girls win!  We would very much like our younger girls to wear their uniforms please.

Put the day/time in your diary.  There will be a presentation after the game and I would REALLY like everyone there to congratulate them.  It's a very special day for our club.

Anyway ... to our big girls, just remember:

IT'S JUST ANOTHER GAME and we will think you are fabulous no matter WHAT the outcome!  We think you girls are awesome and we are there to celebrate your success on the day.  Making it to the Grand Final already makes you a success.

My best advice is to focus on your game strategy and if all else fails .... just breathe in .... and breathe out.  Like I said earlier ... it's just another game and both teams have performed well all year.  Just continue doing what you've done before.

You girls rule too!  Great work to all of you and congratulations to Simon and Michael for getting our girls there.   Managers, please remember you must be at the Control Centre 30 mins before the game.
