Lighting at Meadowbank Park

Hi all - a note from ERNA.......
As you are all aware, Councillors are voting on the lighting AT Meadowbank Park next Tuesday, 7 September at their Council Meeting commencing 7.30 p.m. at the Civic Centre in the Council Chambers. If you could meet me outside at 7.15pm and then we will move up to the chambers. We have five people speaking on our behalf. This is the first item on the agenda.
We have previously asked each Club to send 2 or more representatives to the meeting - all wearing tracksuits/uniform where possible.
We have been advised that we need to fill the gallery with netballers. The opposition has 66 people and we need to outnumber them. The gallery holds about 200.
We have now been made to believe that the presence of children/players in their tracksuits would be of even more benefit and make a bigger impact than our speakers.
EASTWOOD RYDE NETBALL ASSOCIATION URGENTLY NEEDS YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT PLEASE.
We would ask you to get as many people/players from your club together to attend the meeting with you. They should all be in their club tracksuits if possible. Please stress to your club members that ERNA really needs their help and support if we are to get lights at Meadowbank Park.
Parking is available in the Ryde Shopping Centre complex.
As this is the first item on the agenda maximum time allowed is 1 hour. We will know the result by 8.30pm.
We would be grateful if you could let me know by Friday evening how many from each club will be in attendance.
Thanks for your help – we really need it to get the lights approved!!!!
Many thanks
Judy
